This beautiful Engraved Scottish Quaich Pewter Celtic Handle features a plain highly polished bowl. Celtic banding around the circumference of the bowl contrasts wonderfully with this plain finish. The addition of Scottish thistles style handles reflects a proud Scottish heritage. The option of engraving the quaich with a personal message or logo will add a personal touch.

Originating in the Scottish Highlands, traditionally the quaich served as a ‘cup of welcome’ and when offering a farewell drink. The quaich was originally made from the primitive ‘staved’ wood and later crafted from horn or leather. Eventually, pewter and silver became popular as the quaich became the favourite drinking cup throughout Scotland. Having your message or logo engravings done locally in Stirling, your Personalised Scottish Quaich Pewter Thistle Handle will hold on to its Scottish roots.
